How it works in four weeks
Four weeks, four stages, fixed before we start. You always know what's happening and what's next.
Strategy
We work out who the site is for, what it has to do, and what's currently getting in the way. You get a written scope with everything that's included and everything that isn't.
Design
I design the key pages and we refine them together over two rounds of feedback. Nothing gets built until you've approved how it looks.
Development
I build the approved design, load your content, and test it on real devices. You see it on a staging link throughout, not at the end.
Launch
Final checks, then the site goes live. That is when it stops being a plan and becomes real. I walk you through managing it yourself and stay available for two weeks afterwards to fix anything that surfaces.
I start by listening to the story, and I finish by handing over the real thing.
I'm Lais, a designer working across brand, web and Shopify. For six years I was Design Lead at a marketing agency, then Head of Design at a web design agency, managing an in-house team and a roster of freelancers. That is where I learned to run a project, not just draw one.
Now I work directly with founders and small teams. I take a website from first conversation to live site: design, build, content, testing, handover. Most of my clients come to me because they've been burned by the handoff between a designer and a developer, and they'd rather it was one person's problem.
I also run MagPlay, my own Shopify brand. It means every decision I make on your store is one I've had to make with my own money on the line.
